you download the thing its just a nice display telling you to buy the 99 cents one and it clearly specify that it works only with iphone 3Gs O.o ?

Works for me, on an iPhone 3G. Wont work on a 2G or iPod, of course, since they have no GPS. You have to move in a straight line after the green "GPS Ready" appears, and it seems you have to go at least 100 feet or more. Thats not a shortcoming of the software, but a limitation of the GPS accuracy. Works especially well to indicate direction in a car. The easily visible red arrow shows where youre headed. This is an easy way to find out if youre getting a GPS signal. It would be nice to be able to reset it and start over when youre walking, though.

After reading all the awful reviews, I was a little nervous about this app. But since it was free, I downloaded it anyway. I use it as a compass on my iPhone 4 for when I am driving. I have too much magnetic interference in the car to allow me to use a magnetic compass. When driving, the compass does exactly what it is supposed to do, and tells you which direction you are driving in as determined by your movement and GPS. No complaints. Works fine. No-frills. There is a paid version that has some more features, but the free version does what it is supposed to do.

Does not work on my iTouch 4G like all the others Ive tried.

Loaded it and it does nothing. Click on the settings and all it does is take you to the app store so you can buy the $.99 version. Do not even waste your time with this app.
