Works fine, and its free

Works for me, on an iPhone 3G. Wont work on a 2G or iPod, of course, since they have no GPS. You have to move in a straight line after the green "GPS Ready" appears, and it seems you have to go at least 100 feet or more. Thats not a shortcoming of the software, but a limitation of the GPS accuracy.

Works especially well to indicate direction in a car. The easily visible red arrow shows where youre headed.

This is an easy way to find out if youre getting a GPS signal.

It would be nice to be able to reset it and start over when youre walking, though.
